WSM-FM Names Dan Bowen PD

CUMULUS Country WSM-F/NASHVILLE has tapped DAN BOWEN as its new PD, replacing RUSSELL PENUELL, who exited on FEBRUARY 21st.

CUMULUS SVP/Programming JAN JEFFRIES told ALL ACCESS: “It has been an exciting and gratifying morning here at CUMULUS with the major announcement regarding the company’s growth. Most recently BOWEN was VP/Radio Strategies for AIRPLAY DIRECT/NASHVILLE and prior to that was VP/Strategic Marketing and Communications at the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION, and has also been PD at LINCOLN FINANCIAL Hot AC WSTR (STAR)/ATLANTA.
