UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP will be releasing a digital-only compilation album featuring some of the label's biggest stars, to help raise funds for JAPAN, sticken by earthquake, tsunami, and now radioactivity.
Look for RIHANNA, NICKI MINAJ, JUSTIN BIEBER, LADY GAGA, U2 and BON JOVI among many others to appear on the album. All are waiving their royalties so that the entire proceeds will go towards RED CROSS JAPAN.
A UMG spokesperson said, "We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week.
LADY GAGA and her loyal fans have raised over $250,000 in recent days, and NE-YO is also contributing to the country's aid by performing at several charity concerts in JAPAN, this week.
