The talk about FOX NEWS RADIO and FOX NEWS CHANNEL host TONY SNOW becoming President BUSH's press secretary has become reality with the formal announcement WEDNESDAY that SNOW will take the job.
"As a professional journalist, TONY SNOW understands the importance of the relationship between government and those whose job it is to cover the government," President BUSH said at the brief announcement ceremony TODAY.
SNOW will be replacing the departing SCOTT MCCLELLAN; several reports indicate that SNOW, who was treated for colon cancer last year, had waited until getting the go-ahead from his oncologist before taking the job, and was cleared after medical tests administered last week.
SNOW will be replaced on FOX NEWS RADIO by FOX NEWS CHANNEL morning "FOX AND FRIENDS" co-host BRIAN KILMEADE and FOX commentator Judge ANDREW NAPOLITANO. "BRIAN AND THE JUDGE" will be heard 9a-Noon ET beginning TOMORROW (4/27).
