Congratulations to FOREVER BROADCASTING and Country WFGY (Froggy 98)/ALTOONA, PA, as both company and station celebrate their 20th Anniversary. WFGY, which was the first acquisition for FOREVER BROADCASTING, debuted on APRIL 2nd, 1991 at noon to the sounds of MCA/NASHVILLE artist GEORGE STRAIT’s “ACE IN THE HOLE.” The company celebrated last night with a dinner for staff, and WFGY will celebrate tonight with their “MR. FROGGY’S 20TH BIRTHDAY BASH.” One hundred WFGY listeners won invitations to tonight’s “BASH”, where they’ll be treated to birthday cake, live local music, and a chance to win their share of over $14,000 in prizes.
