Condolences to family and friends of NEW ZEALAND actress and radio and television host KERRY SMITH, who died TODAY (4/20) after a battle with melanoma.

SMITH, who was a star on the TV series "GLOSS" in the 1980s, most recently hosted middays on MEDIAWORKS AC THE BREEZE network from 2006 until JANUARY, when she took leave to tend to her illness.  She previously hosted on Talk RADIOLIVE and the old RADIO PACIFIC and hosted "NEW ZEALAND'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS" and the local version of the home improvement TV show "CHANGING ROOMS."
