WTOP's Hillary Howard Recovering From Surgery To Remove Brain Tumor

BONNEVILLE News WTOP/WASHINGTON news anchor HILLARY HOWARD is recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor, and the station's website is reporting that she got some good news about the tumor: doctors say it was caught early, and the tumor turned out to be benign.  The tumor was discovered after she was tested following a fall down a flight of stairs.

HOWARD told WTOP's MEERA PAL, "Sometimes I have to remind myself that I had brain surgery two weeks ago."  HOWARD plans to return to work on MAY 16th.
