The NASHVILLE PREDATORS hockey organization has donated an autographed guitar to the upcoming RETUNE NASHVILLE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION on MAY 3rd. Session guitarist BRAD RUTHVEN donated the flood damaged guitar to RETUNE NASHVILLE, and the art work was created by NASHVILLE artist, RANDY PURCELL.
This guitar, which will be one of 40 items auctioned off at the event, was signed by all 23 members of the NASHVILLE PREDATORS hockey team. The team’s coach, BARRY TROTZ, said, “I think this is a unique piece. This guitar blends a little bit of NASHVILLE’s established music tradition with the new era of NASHVILLE sports. Each year there is a unique group of players for the PREDATORS, and this piece symbolizes this year’s team.”
The event will raise money for musicians still recovering from the flood. It is being held on MAY 3rd at SOUNDCHECK, whose facilities endured major damage by the flood. Performers previously announced for the event are KEITH ANDERSON and CHAD WARRIX, with more to be announced. Doors open at 5:30p(CT) and tickets can be purchased here.
