The WASHINGTON POST reports that the signal of POTOMAC RADIO Asian WCRW-A/LEESBURG, VA, the former WAGE-A that returned to the air on APRIL 11th from its new 50,000-watt facility, is drawing interference complaints from residents of retirement communities in ASHBURN, VA. Residents of the ASHBY PONDS and FOUR SEASONS AT ASHBURN communities say that the new radio signal is interfering with their phone lines, in some cases drowning out conversations.
A VERIZON spokesperson said that the affected neighborhoods are within line of sight of the new towers and that technicians are working on the problem.
