The NFL Draft starts THURSDAY (4/28), and FOX SPORTS RADIO and SIRIUS XM RADIO are planning to offer in-depth coverage of the annual event.
FOX SPORTS RADIO will broadcast live from the draft at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL in NEW YORK, with FSR weekender and CBS RADIO Sports WIP-A/PHILADELPHIA midday host ANTHONY GARGANO joined by FOX football analyst JAY GLAZER for live coverage 7-11p (ET) THURSDAY, joined by NFL scout and FOX analyst CHRIS LANDRY live from BATON ROUGE. Also on the show will be FOX football commentator and former BALTIMORE RAVENS coach BRIAN BILLICK, who will join GARGANO, GLAZER, and LANDRY in the first hour. "INTO THE NIGHT WITH TONY BRUNO" will offer follow-up draft commentary 11p-1a (ET).
On SIRIUS XM, besides SIRIUS NFL RADIO's coverage, MAD DOG RADIO host DINO COSTA plans to broadcast live for 11 consecutive hours THURSDAY night through FRIDAY morning, 7p-6a (ET). COSTA will start his coverage from RADIO CITY, then, after the first round concludes, he'll walk (or stagger, depending on how it goes) across 6th Avenue to SIRIUS XM's studios, where he'll recap the draft and talk about it with callers all night long.
"I'm all about creating memorable radio programming with each and every show that I do," said COSTA. "This marathon draft show is yet another example of providing our listeners with the kind of comprehensive NFL Draft coverage not available anywhere else. I'm thrilled to be a part of another exciting MAD DOG RADIO project with the kind of show that only a platform like SIRIUS XM can provide."
