ALL ACCESS has learned that CH HOLDINGS Talk KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS morning team SCOTT AND CASEY have exited the station. SCOTT AND CASEY joined the station as part of the station's revamp to appeal to younger listeners late last year; they previously worked at KFI-A/LOS ANGELES, WDBO-A/ORLANDO, WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON, and WKRK (LIVE 97.1)/DETROIT, and CASEY BARTHOLOMEW worked solo at WSCC (NEWSRADIO 94.3 WSC-FM)/CHARLESTON, SC. Reach CASEY at kficasey@aol.com.
Starting MONDAY, KTRS returns to a news-oriented morning block hosted by former KCMO-A/KANSAS CITY host GEORGE WOODS. The new show will run 5:30-9a.
The ST. LOUIS CARDINALS, co-owners of KTRS, are also denying reports that the team is considering a move back to former longtime flagship KMOX-A/ST. LOUIS. CARDS President MARK LAMPING told the BELLEVILLE NEWS-DEMOCRAT that reports at stlmedia.net regarding the team's unhappiness with the station's non-baseball programming have "no basis in fact... there's no truth to it whatsoever."
