Radio veteran and former MINNEAPOLIS political radio talk show host WENDY WILDE has formally announced her candidacy for U.S. Congress.
“(Congressman) JIM RAMSTAD's votes in congress have been one more rubber-stamp for the GEORGE W. BUSH agenda. JIM likes to pass himself off as a moderate, but if you look at his actual record in Congress, the majority of JIM RAMSTAD's votes over the past few years simply rubber-stamp TOM DELAY and GEORGE BUSH policies. That’s why you’re paying so much for gas at the pump, that’s why they haven’t done anything to fix the health care crisis, and that's why consumers have less money to spend and businesses are feeling the sqeeze. It’s time to get the job done. It’s time for change in the U.S. Congress.” said WILDE.
WILDE is a 29-year veteran radio broadcaster who began transforming her entertainment show into an issues and political commentary format in 1998 on CBS Talk WCCO-A, and later on the TWIN CITIES' AIR AMERICA affiliate. Check out her website: www.wildeforcongress.com.
