RICH STEVENS' first show at JAMES CRYSTAL RADIO Talk WFTL-A/MIAMI-FORT LAUDERDALE-WEST PALM BEACH kicked off with a big guest, FLORIDA Governor RICK SCOTT.

STEVENS pulled off the coup after wondering how he could get instant press attention on his first day with the station; the move worked, with ABC affiliate WPLG-TV and FOX affiliate WSVN-TV covering the interview along with local newspapers.  The interview ended up extended from 10 to 30 minutes and included an invitation for STEVENS to spend a weekend at the Governor's Mansion in TALLAHASEE.
