MORRIS COMMUNICATIONS' MCC RADIO, LLC is selling Sports KXPS-A (TEAM 1010)/THOUSAND PALMS-PALM SPRINGS, CA to RON COHEN's CRC MEDIA WEST, LLC for $250,000.

In other filings with the FCC, EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W282AW/OCEAN PINES, MD to EPCOT BROADCASTING, LLC for $20,000.

DE LA CRUZ INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES, INC. has traded construction permits for new noncommercial FMs in GREENVIEW and MOUNT HEBRON, CA and SUNRISE, AZ to ZION MULTIMEDIA CORPORATION for $123,500 in air time trade on the buyer's Spanish Religion XESURF-A (540 KSURF, brokered)/TIJUANA-SAN DIEGO, plus additional one hour weekday air time on the MOUNT HEBRON and SUNRISE stations for life once the facilities are built.

SHREDDING THE DARKNESS is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM in NATCHITOCHES, LA to GENERAL HABITAT CORPORATION for $8,000.

WMD RADIOWERKS, INC., licensee of Hot AC WKHJ/MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK, MD and Country WWHC (92.3 THE TRAIN) and Oldies WMSG-A/OAKLAND, MD, has gone into receivership.  JOHN CULP has been appointed receiver for the company by GARRETT COUNTY, MD Circuit Court.

Requesting Silent STAs were FOOTHILLS BROADCASTING, INC. (W255BK/MORRISTOWN, TN; W293BC/ELK VALLEY, TN; W229BE/GATLINBURG, TN).

CLEAR CHANNEL has asked for an extension of its Silent STA for K243AT/MERAUX-NEW ORLEANS, LA, because renovations on the building, PLAZA TOWER, are proceeding too slowly to allow construction and the previously-licensed site has been abandoned by its owner.

And NEW SOUTH RADIO, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WIIN-A/RIDGELAND, MS.

In a deal yet to be filed with the FCC, JIM PHILLIPS is buying Classic Country KBEC-A/WAXAHACHIE, TX from JEANNE MOSLEY, SANDRA HOWELL, and KEN ROBERTS for $1.25 million.  BILL WHITLEY of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP assisted the seller in the deal.
