First-Ever Champions For The Faith Awards, Benefit Concert Scheduled For July

THE PREMIER FOUNDATION in partnership with CBA (THE ASSOCIATION FOR CHRISTIAN RETAIL) will present the first-ever CHAMPIONS FOR THE FAITH AWARDS AND BENEFIT CONCERT on SUNDAY, JULY 10th at 8p (ET) in the THOMAS MURPHY BALLROOM at the GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER in ATLANTA.

Seven honorees will receive awards in various categories:

Charity: RICHARD STEARNS of WORLD VISION
Music: NEWSONG (Founder of "WINTER JAM")
Business: RICH PELUSO of AFFIRM FILMS and SONY MOTION PICTURES
Author: KAREN KINGSBURY
Sports: DAYTONA 500 winner TREVOR BAYNE
Independent Christian Retail: To be announced at the event
Christian Retail Vendor: To be announced at the event
 
The awards show will coincide with CBA’s INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN RETAIL SHOW (ICRS) and will be open to the public, media and conference attendees.  The evening will feature the awards presentation, a live and silent auction benefiting the PREMIER FOUNDATION, and a special visual performance by artist JARED EMERSON.  The event will conclude with a concert by a Christian artist to be determined.
