Phil Redo Joins WGBH/Boston As Managing Director of News And Culture

Former GREATER MEDIA/BOSTON VP/Market Manager PHIL REDO has been named Managing Director of News and Culture at WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION noncommercial WGBH-F/BOSTON, reports the BOSTON HERALD.  REDO left GREATER MEDIA in DECEMBER 2008 and has consulted WGBH since then.

Prior to joining GREATER MEDIA in APRIL 2007, REDO was VP/Station Operations & Strategy for NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO's WNYC-A-F. REDO also served as the PD of WMJX from 1986-1990 and as an on-air personality for the original WROR in the early 1980s.
