Toby Keith Golf Classic Raises $650,000 For Charity

SHOW DOG – UNIVERSAL MUSIC artist TOBY KEITH just wrapped up his “TOBY KEITH & FRIENDS GOLF CLASSIC,”with more than $650,000 for the construction of the OK KIDS KORRAL, a home for pediatric cancer patients and families near the OU MEDICAL CENTER CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL. 

The “DENIM & DIAMONDS” themed dinner and auction was sold out with 750 people attending, and the top auction item, which was a dinner with TOBY KEITH, went for $52,000. Many other items were sold, including an all inclusive elk hunt at the EXPRESS UU BAR RANCH in CIMARRON, NM for $30,000.

About the construction of the OK KIDS KORRAL, TOBY said-- "It's slow gears turning, but it's going to be something that OKLAHOMA CITY can be really proud of when we're done with it. It’s a long battle.”
