Long-Time Salt Lake City Vet Mike Summers Joins KENZ As PD

New PD

CITADEL Alternative KENZ (101.9 THE END)/SALT LAKE CITY hires MIKE SUMMERS as its new PD. SUMMERS had most recently been working at WASATCH PUBLIC MEDIA Nomcomm KPCW/PARK CITY, UT. He previously programmed crosstown Alternative KXRK (X96) for 11 years and was PD of one the market's early alternative stations, KJQ in the late-80s.

SUMMERS told ALL ACCESS, "I was thrilled to get the call from TODD LARSEN and MIKE STALKER who recruited me. We will be competing aggresively and working to evolve our brand. I'm excited to be back at a format I helped found."
