The 10th edition of THE CONCLAVE’s “TalenTrak” air-talent seminar is set for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th at the HOLIDAY INN SELECT/CITY CENTRE LAKESIDE in CLEVELAND. The day begins with MCVAY MEDIA’s DANIEL ANSTANDIG hosting “How NOT To Get A Job,” followed by “Beind Different And Succeeding,” headed by CLEAR CHANNEL/PITTSBURG’s (and soon to be the AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT GROUP’s) MARK ANDERSON.
Next up, WLS/CHICAGO PD KIPPER MCGEE leads a panel on how to “KEEP” a job, followed by a keynote by syndicated morning host (and WXTM/CLEVELAND’s) ROVER. A Conclave tradition follows with an Aircheck Clinic for the first 60 registrants who bring a scoped 3-minute CD aircheck. Faculty for the event includes ENVISION RADIO’s GREG AUSHAM, ALL ACCESS’s JERRY BOULDING, ELYRIA-LORAIN’s TIM KELLY, WQAL’s ALAN FEE, WSNY’s CHUCK KNIGHT, WMMS’s BO MATTHEWS, MCVAY MEDIA’s MIKE MCVAY, WRIF’s DOUG PODELL, WAJI’s BARB RICHARDS, and more. WLUP/CHICAGO’s BILL KLAPROTH will once again serve as host for the day.
TalenTrak concludes with "Great War Stories of Radio", an intimate glance at the trials and tribulations of some of the industry's most successful air talents, followed by a Happy Hour and some surprise evening entertainment. Registration is just $49, and $39 if you’re part of a group of 4 or more from the same station/cluster, for a limited time. A limited number of rooms at the HOLIDAY INN SELECT are available for $89.
