CBS RADIO Oldies has announced that former wake-up host and current afternoon driver GARY BRYAN is moving back to the early shift, where he'll join SAMANTHA STANDER, LISA STANLEY and BOB MALIK, effective MONDAY, MAY 15th. BRYAN replaces HOLLYWOOD HAMILTON, who took over for BRYAN back in FEBRUARY of '05.
Commented VP and GM MAUREEN LESOURD, "GARY has built a loyal audience and established a preeminent position in the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA radio landscape. With the recent expansion of our playlist, coupled with this exciting on-air talent development, we are confident the station will broaden its reach throughout all dayparts."
I feel a real connection with the audience and I look forward to serving them again as the host of the morning show
"What I’m most excited about is GARY’s strength in relating to the K-EARTH 101 audience and I believe this is the continuation of a great relationship that will be brought to a whole new level," said PD JHANI KAYE. "GARY will provide listeners with a fresh, new approach to morning entertainment while at the same time incorporating the music they love."
"It’s an honor to be entrusted with morning drive on K-EARTH 101 by people like MAUREEN LESOURD, JHANI KAYE and the CBS RADIO team. I feel a real connection with the audience and I look forward to serving them again as the host of the morning show," gushed BRYAN.
