As first reported on ALL ACCESS (NET NEWS 5/1) CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WXKS (KISS 108)/BOSTON APD/MD DAVID COREY is leaving the building in JUNE following budget cuts. COREY, a 22 year station veteran who started at the station when he was in high school, worked his way up after five years as an intern to MD, then for the past 11 years he's been APD/MD.
COREY told ALL ACCESS, "I will miss everyone at KISS, especially (WXKS & WJMN PD) CADILLAC JACK, one of the best Program Directors in the country, but it is time to move on and start the next chapter in my career. I plan on continuing my songwriting, producing, and other opportunities, including radio which is still an option. I am hoping to not have to move from BOSTON, but I will be open to discussing all kinds of opportunituies. I will stay through the KISS 108 concert and will leave after that, probably in mid-JUNE."
