LEIGHTON ENTERPRISES/GRAND FORKS FM Operations Manager JOSHUA FLEMING tells ALL ACCESS, "After four and a half weeks on the run, the [Top 40 KNOX] Z-94.7 $5000 Fugitive has been caught in GRAND FORKS. This was a genuine homerun because, the person we chose as our Fugitive was great. A doctor and he was smart, laid low and most importantly, he had GREAT stuff that clues could be written from."
FLEMING adds, "We have a good, solid competitor up there and the other station tried all the tricks to mess with it and Z just stayed on-message, shook them off and kept the audience focused on the chase. The time elapsed from 'clue-to-capture?' Five minutes. That’s large. The clue ran at 7a and at 7:05 he was asked by two people, who teamed up and are sharing the bounty. And finally, the winners, two guys who used GOOGLE to track and dissect each clue. This info was then put through some kind of matrix that prioritized and cataloged the info. HOMELAND SECURITY should hire these guys -- this wasn’t some random right-place-at-the-right-time thing. They knew what they were doing!"
