Rhode Island Hall Of Famer Larry Kruger Passes

Condolences to the family and friends of LARRY KRUGER, the man known for years as SALTY BRINE's sidekick on WPRO-A/PROVIDENCE.

PROVIDENCE's CHANNEL 10 reports, "KRUGER began his career while serving in the Navy and started at WPRO in 1973. He also worked in SPRINGFIELD, MA. In 1977, he joined SALTY BRINE on the station's morning show, where he remained a fixture until SALTY's retirement in 1993."

KRUGER was inducted into the RHODE ISLAND RADIO HALL OF FAME in MAY.
