CMA Music Festival To Be Featured On ABC-TV Special

The TV special, “CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL: COUNTRY’s NIGHT TO ROCK,” airing on SUNDAY, AUGUST 7th from 8-11p (ET), just added more artists, late night jams and behind the scenes interviews. The concert special will be aired on ABC-TELEVISION.
"Unique collaborations are a hallmark of this FESTIVAL and special," said CMA Chief Executive Officer, STEVE MOORE. "The artists enjoy performing with their peers and our fans love those one-of-a-kind moments you won't find anywhere else. And, we have them.”
Concert performances added to the lineup for the special include COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME group ALABAMA performing with CMA “ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR,” BRAD PAISLEY and THE BAND PERRY from their show at LP FIELD in NASHVILLE, also a late-night jam at a downtown NASHVILLE club with LUKE BRYAN, KID ROCK and SHERYL CROW. Also featured will be JOSH TURNER, SCOTTY McCREERY, ALAN JACKSON and ZAC BROWN BAND.
Previously announced performers include "AMERICAN IDOL” runner up LAUREN ALAINA performing with MARTINA McBRIDE, KELLY CLARKSON, SARA EVANS, LADY ANTEBELLUM, MIRANDA LAMBERT, RASCAL FLATTS, DARIUS RUCKER, SUGARLAND, TAYLOR SWIFT, REBA and KEITH URBAN.
All of the televised performances were from the 2011 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL, held between JUNE 7th-10th in NASHVILLE.
