FCC Fines Florida Pirate $22,000

The FCC has fined JUDITH V. SMITH (formerly JUDITH MACFARLANE) $22,000 for operating a pirate radio station at 95.9 FM in MIAMI.  The Commission said that SMITH failed to respond to its Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture in the matter.

Also served with Notices of Unlicensed Operation were PRECIOUS MOMENTS IN VIDEO (93.3 FM, SAN ANGELO, TX); KOU D. HER (1620 and 1630 AM, ST. PAUL, MN); and XENG XIONG (1650 AM, ST. PAUL, MN).
