FOX SPORTS RADIO is partnering with MASTERCARD WORLDWIDE in a program to aid the STAND UP TO CANCER charity and its "Eat, Drink and Be Generous" campaign. The network started billing guests as being on the "MASTERCARD Celebrity Hotline" last week (7/25) and has been including information about the campaign, which donates a penny for each purchase made on MASTERCARD when dining out up to a total of $4 million to SU2C.
"We are honored to support breakthrough cancer research funded through STAND UP TO CANCER with Eat, Drink and Be Generous," said MASTERCARD GROUP Head of U.S. Marketing CHERYL GUERIN. "For consumers it's as simple as choosing to use a MASTERCARD to pay for a meal and you too can stand with us in the fight against a disease that impacts so many. The MASTERCARD Celebrity Hotline featured on FOX SPORTS RADIO will help us further spread the word about how easy it is to get involved."
"It is a privilege to work with these two fantastic organizations to further such an important cause," said FSR VP/GM DON MARTIN.
"Every penny counts in the fight against cancer, and using a MASTERCARD to pay for a meal is an easy way to support the scientists working to end it," said SU2C Co-Founder SUE SCHWARTZ. "We're so grateful to FOX SPORTS RADIO for getting that message out to all of its listeners."
