WAPE Names Kobe As Its New PD

COX MEDIA Top 40 WAPE/JACKSONVILLE has tapped sister Top 40 WPUP (POWER 100.1) and Hot AC WGMG (MAGIC 102.1)/ATHENS, GA PD KOBE FARGO as its new PD. KOBE is replacing TIM CLARKE who moved cross-state as PD for newly launched sister Top 40 WPOI (HOT 101.5)/TAMPA (NET NEWS 7/11). KOBE will also pull down afternoons.

COX/JACKSONVILLE Ops Dir. TODD SHANNON added, "KOBE's programming and social media skills put him at the top of the list of candidates to lead the legendary BIG APE. We look forward to his arrival on the 22nd."
