Edgar Berger Named Pres./CEO International At Sony Music Entertainment

EDGAR BERGER has been named Pres./CEO International at SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, it was announced TODAY (8/9) by CEO DOUG MORRIS. In this role, BERGER will be responsible for SONY MUSIC's operations and regional offices outside the U.S. He will be based in LONDON and will report directly to MORRIS.

MORRIS stated, "We are delighted to have EDGAR heading up our International operations. He has a proven track record of success through his leadership of both the strategically important German market and the larger GSA region. We are excited that he will now apply his talents to breaking artists and driving strategic business initiatives and innovation in our territories around the world."
