Billy Parker Celebrates 40 Years with KVOO

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP Country KVOO/TULSA on-air personality BILLY PARKER celebrated his 40th anniversary with the company, on AUGUST 1st.

He joined KVOO/TULSA in 1971, and throughout his career he has won four “Broadcast Personality of the Year” awards by the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC, and “Disk Jockey of the Year” by the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION.

PARKER’s weekend show, “BILLY PARKER’s COUNTRY JUNCTION” airs on KVOO/TULSA’s sister channel KXBL/TULSA on the weekends, from 8a-10a (CT), and 8p-10p (CT).
