What's crackin' in SOUTH CACKALACKEE? If you are tuned into ENTERCOM Top 40 WFBC (B93.7)/GREENVILLE, then you know about Zoo-A-Palooza 2011.

On SATURDAY, AUGUST 20th at 6p the GREENVILLE ZOO shuts down and the real animals come out to play to raise money for the zoo. MAT KEARNEY will do a free show for listeners, and there will be tons of free food and drink -- and for $20 listeners can "buy" a meet n' greet with MAT, with all the proceeds going to the GREENVILLE ZOO.

B93.7 OM/PD CHASE MURPHY was musing about the endless possibilities of having HAWK, TOM, HEIDI and KATO all locked into the monkey cage during the event -- and what terrific video footage it would provide for an upcoming TORTURE TUESDAY feature. He then reconsidered the potential on-going odor-risk to the station's studios, carpeting and furniture ... but, then again!
