WBWI And Toby Keith Team To Help Pearl Harbor Survivor

BLISS RADIO Country WBWI/MILWAUKEE has enlisted the help of SHOW DOG UNIVERSAL MUSIC artist TOBY KEITH to send a PEARL HARBOR survivor back to PEARL HARBOR.

JERRY JEROME has been invited back to mark the 70th anniversary of the attacks this DECEMBER. JEROME served in the U.S. ARMY from 1940 to 1945. During WORLD WAY II, he was assigned to the 25th Infantry Division and served in the PHILIPPINES and on GUADALCANAL. On DECEMBER 7th, 1941, PEARL HARBOR was bombed by the JAPANESE, while JERRY was stationed in HAWAII at the SCHOFIELD BARRACKS.

WBWI PD KEN KOHLS said, “When the story of JERRY came across my desk I knew we had to do something, I called some friends who work for TOBY KEITH and in a matter of five minutes TOBY and they were on board to help in any way they could.”
