98.9 The Big Talker/Austin Flips To Oldies

BORDER MEDIA Talk KXBT (98.9 THE BIG TALKER)/AUSTIN has flipped to Oldies as TRUE OLDIES 98.9, with the format moving over from sister KXXS.  The stations are simulcasting for now, with a new format ticketed for the 92.5 frequency; look for the format of Spanish Sports KWNX-A (1260 ESPN DEPORTES) to land on 92.5 FM next month.

OM/PD JEFF WOLF posted on the station's FACEBOOK page, "Hey, it's JEFF WOLF ... the PD for what was 98.9 THE BIG TALKER since the very beginning in NOVEMBER 2009. Despite our hard work to bring you more stimulating talk, our audience did not grow as quickly as we hoped it would.
