Bernie Corrigan Passes On

ALL ACCESS sends condolences out to the family and friends of musician/producer/promo man and music supervisor BERNIE CORRIGAN who passed away on SUNDAY (8/14).

BERNIE CORRIGAN was a multi-instrumentalist who worked with GRAMMY winners BEN MOODY of EVANESCENCE, and GIORGIO MORODER.  He also contributed music to the GUITAR HERO franchise. BERNIE performed with CHERIE CURRIE of THE RUNAWAYS, and GRETCHEN BONADUCE's band ANKHESENAMEN in the filming of the reality show "RE-INVENTING BONADUCE." He was also a music instructor and he wrote lessons for the LINE-6 educational "JAM-ALONG" site as the Sr. Editor of GUITARPORT ONLINE where he also handled Artist Relations.

ALL ACCESS Hot/AC Editor MARK STRICKLAND commented, "BERNIE's drive and his passion for music was a great inspiration to all who knew him. It was a true honor to call him my friend.  He will be greatly missed."

CORRIGAN is survived by his wife BETH, son BERNARD and daughter SARAH.  A memorial fund has been set up to benefit his family at www.BernieCorriganMemorialFund.org.
