Mr. Phunn Moving To Co-Host 9a-Noon At 1500 ESPN/Twin Cities

HUBBARD Sports KSTP-A (1500 ESPN)/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS is moving 6-8p (CT) "THE PHUNNHOUSE" host JOE "MR. PHUNN" ANDERSON to 9a-noon to be JUDD ZULGAD's co-host for "JUDD AND PHUNN," starting SEPTEMBER 6th.  ZULGAD, co-host of the station's SATURDAY SPORTSTALK, was previously announced as exiting the MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE to take over the early midday slot, replacing ESPN RADIO's COLIN COWHERD.  A new host will be named shortly to fill ANDERSON's 6-8p slot.

"Working with him on a full-time basis is going to be a blast," ZULGAD said of ANDERSON. "We're around the same age, enjoy the same sports, but definitely will have our own views on things. The fact that JOE will be my partner is going to make walking into the studio every morning a lot of fun and something I'm really looking forward to."

"I've been an admirer of JUDD's writing ability for years, had fun with him on the air and always wished I had his fashion sense," ANDERSON said. "Now that we'll be spending every day together, I'm hoping a little bit of that will rub off on me. We're going to have a lot of fun, and hopefully, radio listeners around the TWIN CITIES will have some, too."
