This year's winner of CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK's "Fantasy Phenom Year 2" contest is JOHN JASTREMSKI of STATEN ISLAND, who won the voting among listeners and judges and will now host a weekly show on the station beginning in mid-SEPTEMBER. JASTREMSKI, who writes for the POINT PLEASANT, NJ edition of AOL's PATCH hyperlocal news websites, beat out four other finalists, PAT TOTARO, PATRICK CREIGHTON, MIKE MCMASTER, and NEERAJ JOSHI, who will each receive one air shift on the station. Last year's winner, GREGG SUSSMAN, has moved to the part-time air staff at WFAN.
"This year's Fantasy Phenom Year 2 challenge proved to be a rewarding experience. Congratulations to all participants, our five finalists, and in particular our grand prize winner JOHN JASTREMSKI," said OM MARK CHERNOFF.
