NARM Names New Board Members

NARM has elected five new members to its Board of Directors. They are MICROSOFT INTERACTIVE Dir./Relationships and Strategy CHRISTINA CALIO; ALLIANCE ENTERTAINMENT CORP. Pres. MICHAEL DAVIS; eMUSIC Pres./CEO ADAM KLEIN; RHAPSODY Head of Label Relations & Business Development DAVID KRINSKY; and TARGET Sr. Buyer/Music & Digital Entertainment ALYSSA VESCIO.
"I'm pleased to welcome CHRISTINA CALIO, MICHAEL DAVIS, ADAM KLEIN, DAVID KRINSKY and ALYSSA VESCIO to the NARM Board of Directors," said RACHELLE FRIEDMAN, Chair of the NARM Board of Directors and CEO of J&R MUSIC & COMPUTER WORLD. "Their wide-ranging experience will bring valuable insight to NARM as we continue to evolve the organization to meet the challenges of the music industry."
"The NARM Board is a true reflection of the music commerce spectrum, including digital music providers, mobile companies, independent retailers, large chains, and wholesalers," NARM Pres. JIM DONIO added. "Each director brings a different understanding what's working in the current retail landscape, and these different viewpoints will help NARM continue to offer the most value to all its members."
NARM Board members serve staggered three-year terms and must be retail or wholesale members.
