Members of RENDA Top 40 KHTT (K-HITS 106.9)/TULSA's BILLY MADISON SHOW have filed suit against RED ROBIN restaurants and a local cook/manager after suffering symptoms of food poisoning.
According to COURTHOUSE NEWS SERVICE, KHTT morning hosts NATHAN NORRIS, JACOB DAY, BISHAN JONES and WILLIAM GARVEY dined at the RED ROBIN on KENOSHA ST. in TULSA last NOVEMBER. The complaint states that cook/manager MATTHEW RAND, who apparently is the fan of a competing morning show, posted a message on his FACEBOOK page announcing that the jocks were in his restaurant, and proceeded to take a poll asking "what he should do to the Plaintiff's food," according to the complaint. All four jocks later became ill, and were diagnosed with food poisoning.
The jocks are seeking punitive damages for battery, negligence and vicarious liability, and are being represented by DAVID KEELING with RICHARDSON RICHARDSON BOUDREAUX and KEESLING.
