RED LIGHT MANAGEMENT has hired music veteran TRACY GERSHON for its NASHVILLE headquarters. The company has also added CAPITOL RECORDS artist DIERKS BENTLEY to its roster.
In her new role, GERSHON will continue to co-manage BIG MACHINE RECRODS artist ELLA MAE BOWEN and ERIN ENDERLIN. She will also manage writing interests for RODNEY CROWELL, and provide additional A&R assistance to RED LIGHT’s artists.
GERSHON’s background ranges from the executive posts she held at EMI, SONY MUSIC publishing, SONY RECORDS, and WARNER BROS records. She was most recently the creative head of WARNER CHAPPELL NASHVILLE.
GERSHON said, “Returning to management makes perfect sense for me. I moved to NASHVILLE from LOS ANGELES in 1988 and managed several artists. For the past two decades, I have worked as an A & R executive at both record labels and publishing companies. This experience, along with the vision and resources of CORAN CAPSHAW, make the transition to RED LIGHT exciting foundation for which to build my clientele.”
