CUMULUS Rocker WPDH/POUGHKEEPSIE, NY PD GARY CEE has been thrown into the middle of the NEW YORK political scene. NASSAU COUNTY Executive TOM SUOZZI, appearing today on THE GARY CEE SHOW, challenged NEW YORK state Attorney General ELLIOT SPITZER to a radio debate. Both gentlemen are seeking the state's Governor seat.

“I accept!” was SUOZZI's response when CEE asked if SUOZZI would debate SPITZER at the MID-HUDSON CIVIC CENTER in POUGHKEEPSIE. CEE would make the live broadcast available to any NEW YORK radio station willing to air it. Both parties have CEE's written proposal for a radio debate in hand. SPITZER's campaign has not replied.
