Island Def Jam Hosts Fall Music Preview In Hollywood

Props to ISLAND DEF JAM Pres./COO STEVE BARTELS and EVP/Promotion RICK SACKHEIM, who hosted an ISLAND DEF JAM Fall Music Preview MONDAY (8/29) at HOLLYWOOD's SAYERS CLUB.

SACKHEIM was all smiles sporting a fresh tan just back from his recent wedding to MICHELE HARRISON (now SACKHEIM) in GREECE. MICHELE SACKHEIM works at MONOTONE, INC. where she manages VAMPIRE WEEKEND, THE SHINS, and JAMIE FOXX among others.

With stars NOEL GALLAGHER, PETE WENTZ and THE DREAM in attendance and STEVE BARTELS on the mic, guests got to hear brand new music on the way from ISLAND DEF JAM, The event also featured great performances from JOHN WEST, LUKE JAMES, and ELECTRIC TOUCH.

The A-list crowd in attendance included IDJMG's CHRISTINE CHIAPPETTA, LORI RISCHER, ROLAND WEST and CHELSEA GALLARDO plus CBS VP/Programming MICHAEL MARTIN, CLEAR CHANNEL's JOHN IVEY and JULIE PILAT, KPWR (POWER 106)/LOS ANGELES' JIMMY STEAL and E-MAN, and BROADWAY ENTERTAINMENT's VON FREEMAN.
