TRISHA and DAVID INGALLS are selling six INGALLS HOLDINGS, LLC stations in ROSWELL and TUCUMCARI, NM to MAJESTIC COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, headed by JAMES MATTEUCCI, for $260,000. The stations include Country KTNM-A and KQAY-F/TUCUMCARI and Country KMOU, Oldies KBCQ-A, Classic Hits KSFX, and Hot AC KBCQ-F (Q97)/ROSWELL.
In other filings with the FCC, OREGON PUBLIC BROADCASTING has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K218BA/JOHN DAY, OR, supplanted for now by OPB's new full-service station, KOJD/JOHN DAY, OR.
And LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator W295BF/MIDLOTHIAN, VA due to a tower collapse.
The FCC has also approved the sale of noncommercial WNJS-F/BERLIN, WNJB-F/BRIDGETON, WNJN-F/ATLANTIC CITY, WNJM/MANAHAWKIN, and WNJZ/CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE by NEW JERSEY PUBLIC BROADCASTING AUTHORITY to WHYY, INC. for $926,000 plus $612,000 of non-cash consideration. The stations are now simulcasting noncommercial News-Talk WHYY/PHILADELPHIA.
