ESPN RADIO has announced its plans for football programming for the 2011 college and pro season.
Studio programming includes "MIKE TIRICO'S WEEKEND BLITZ" 7-9p (ET) FRIDAYs, with CHRIS MORTENSON and KEYSHAWN JOHNSON; "THE FANTASY BLITZ" with FREDDIE COLEMAN 9-10p FRIDAYS; a simulcast of TV's "COLLEGE GAMEDAY" 10a-noon SATURDAYS followed by "COLLEGE GAMEDAY ON ESPN RADIO" with RYEN RUSSILLO, TREVOR MATICH, and BRAD EDWARDS noon-7:30p and "COLLEGE FOOTBALL TONIGHT" with COLEMAN and MEL KIPER, JR. 7:30p-midnight; and JOHN STASHOWER's "COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF" SUNDAYS 10a-1p (ET), followed by "THE NFL ON ESPN RADIO" 1-7p (ET) hosted by COLEMAN and "FOOTBALL TONIGHT" with CHUCK WILSON and AMY LAWRENCE 7p-midnight after the baseball season concludes.
Nineteen regular-season games and the ACC Championship Game are on tap for ESPN's college schedule, and the network will air play-by-play of 22 bowl games and the BCS National Championship game.
