WIXY 5,000 Blood Promotion Brings In 5,368 Pints This Year

SAGA Country WIXY/CHAMPAIGN, IL wrapped up their 6th Annual WIXY 5,000 blood promotion WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31st. Each SUMMER, WIXY encourages listeners to donate with a summer goal of 5,000 pints. The final total this year was 5,368.

Dir./Community Blood Services Donor Relations CARRIE WEBB said, "We made it through the entire summer, including JULY 4th weekend and the upcoming LABOR DAY weekend, without experiencing a single significant shortage. That speaks volumes to the dedication of our regular, every-56-days donors in WIXY country! We are so happy to have completed another amazing SUMMER alongside WIXY."
