MARICOPA COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT noncommercial News-Talk KJZZ and Classical KBAQ/PHOENIX Dir./Engineering RALPH HOGAN was elected President of the SOCIETY OF BROADCAST ENGINEERS in this year's election.
Also elected to one-year terms were MEREDITH FOX affiliate KVVU-TV (FOX 5)/LAS VEGAS VP of Engineering JOE SNELSON as VP; CLEAR CHANNEL SOUTH FLORIDA Dir./Engineering and IT JAMES LEIFER as Secretary; and ENTERCOM/GREENVILLE Dir./Engineering and Corporate Regional Engineer JERRY MASSEY as Treasurer.
Elected to two-year terms on the SBE's Board of Directors were CBS Dir./Spectrum Engineering RAYMOND BENEDICT; COMMUNICATIONS e2v INC. Field Support Manager PAUL J. BURNHAM; WTRW, INC. Oldies WGBW-A/TWO RIVERS, WI owner MARK HELLER; REACH COMMUNICATIONS Dir./Engineering CHARLES "CHED" KELLER; ITHACA COLLEGE Dir./Technical Operations DAVID PRIESTER; and TV MAGIC CTO GARY STIGALL.
HOGAN said, "I look forward to serving the Society and continue the excellent efforts the SBE has made in certifying, educating and networking broadcast engineers."
