Premiere Radio Networks Cuts Ties With Star & Buc Wild

Following yesterday's offensive remarks by STAR of the syndicated morning duo STAR & BUC WILD (NET NEWS 5/10) which cost them their jobs at CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK, PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS has officially announced their deal with the duo had come to screeching halt:
"PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS finds recent remarks broadcast by TROI TORAIN of the STAR & BUC WILD Morning Show to be wholly unacceptable and will therefore no longer represent the program in its affiliation and advertising sales."
In additon to POWER 105.1, STAR & BUC WILD's affiliate list included: WUSL (POWER 99)/PHILADELPHIA, WPRW (POWER 107)/AUGUSTA, GA, KBZD (99.7 THE PARTY)/AMARILLO, TX, WPHH (POWER 104.1)/HARTFORD, WMIB (103.5 THE BEAT)/MIAMI, WZBN (BLAZIN' 102.1)/ALBANY, GA, WBTJ (106.5 THE BEAT)/RICHMOND, VA, WQBT (94.1 THE BEAT)/SAVANNAH, GA, WMPW (POWER 99)/MEMPHIS, and KXBT (THE BEAT 104.3)/AUSTIN.
