CAPITOL RECORDS artist KEITH URBAN told USA TODAY that he is working on a women’s fragrance, following the development of his new fragrance for men PHOENIX. The women’s fragrance is expected to be finished up by next year and URBAN said, “I think we’ve got a really good one.”
PHOENIX is expected to arrive in stores in OCTOBER and can be pre-ordered on his website now for $35. The name is taken from the Native American thunderbird tattoo on his left forearm symbolizing rebirth.
URBAN said so far the fragrance is getting a good reception. "I'll meet 80 to 100 people a night. We do them in groups of six or eight, and I meet them one by one," said KEITH. "The first few nights I started wearing my cologne and people were leaning in, saying: 'Is that your cologne? Let me have one more sniff.' They would lean in very close. Remind me to never do an underwear line!"
