CITADEL Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK's 9/11 anniversary coverage will include special editions of the station's weekend shows.
DOUG MCINTYRE's "RED EYE RADIO" will air live from GROUND ZERO, with JOHN BATCHELOR and weekenders ERICH "MANCOW" MULLER, RABBI JOE POTASNIK AND DEACON KEVIN MCCORMACK, JASON MATTERA, and RIC EDELMAN also at GROUND ZERO. BOB GRANT and AARON KLEIN's shows will also be devoted to 9/11 issues, with KLEIN broadcasting from the Israeli/Egyptian border.
"9/11 is about rebirth, rebuilding, and the enduring American spirit," said PD LAURIE CANTILLO.
GM STEVE BORNEMAN added, "Not only will 77 WABC have full coverage of the ceremonies associated with the anniversary, it will be an intensely personal day, with each of our hosts offering their own stories, reflections, and lessons from 9/11. We'll hear from families, First Responders, and listeners whose lives were forever changed on that day."
The station's website will also feature a special section devoted to 9/11 coverage.
