WGRB Launches Family Jam For Peace

CLEAR CHANNEL Black Gospel WGRB-A (Inspiration 1390)/CHICAGO is working with THE FAITH COMMUNITY of ST. SABINA CHURCH of CHICAGO SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th to celebrate Family Peace. The event, now in its fourth year, will include a variety of vendors and an opportunity for attendees to get free health screenings, haircuts and back-to-school supplies.
Sister station WGCI hosts TONY SCULFIELD and LEON ROGERS will be on hand along with WGRB hosts JOHN HANNAH, ANGELA MARTIN, EFFIE ROLFE and SONYA BLAKEY. They will be joined by artists DORINDA CLARK COLE, RICKEY DILLARD & NEW G, TRIN-I-TEE 5:7, DAWKINS & DAWKINS, KIM BURRELL, 21:03, JOSHUA'S TROOP, MAURICE GRIFFIN, CLINQUE CULLAR and THE 100 VOICE PEACE CHOIR. Several local politicians, including Mayor RAHM EMANUEL and Governor PAT QUINN, have been invited and are expected to attend and participate.
