ABERDEEN RADIO RANCH is selling six stations in ABERDEEN, SD to the new ARMADA MEDIA, according to the ABERDEEN AMERICAN NEWS. ARMADA is based in FOND DU LAC, WI and headed by Chairman (and former WISCONSIN Governor and Secretary of Health and Human Services) TOMMY THOMPSON, COO CHRIS BERNIER, and Managing Directors JIM COURSOLLE, SAN DIEGO station operator JOHN LYNCH, attorney JOHN LARSON, and former station group owner TERRY SHOCKLEY.
ARMADA will get Talk KSDN-A, Classic Rock KSDN-F, Hot AC KBFO (THE POINT), Oldies KNBZ (KOOL 97.7), Sports KGIM-A (ESPN 1420), and Country KGIM-F (PHEASANT COUNTRY 103.7)/ABERDEEN for a reported $9.25 million.
