George Jones Celebrates 80th Birthday With The Grand Ole Opry

The GRAND OLE OPRY threw an 80th birthday party for Country great GEORGE JONES, last night (9/13) in NASHVILLE.
Performances from the show included tributes to JONES, by ALAN JACKSON who sang, “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” and LEE ANN WOMACK who joined JACKSON to perform, “Gold Ring.” JAMEY JOHNSON sang, “Whose Gonna Fill Their Shoes,” while THE OAK RIDGE BOYS also performed “Same Ole Me.”
The performances will air on GAC-TV during the special “OPRY Live” on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4th at 7p (CT).
