THREE EAGLES OF LUVERNE, INC. is selling AC KITN (93.5 THE BREEZE), Talk KWOA-A, and Classic Hits KWOA-F (95.1 THE EAGLE)/WORTHINGTON, MN to ABSOLUTE COMMUNICATIONS II, LLC for $2.2 million. At the same time, JOHN D. DANIELS has transferred his 100% ownership of ABSOLUTE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, permitee of Country KUSQ (US 104)/SIBLEY, IA-WORTHINGTON, MN, to RADIO WORKS, LLC, which will be the sole owner of both ABSOLUTE companies. RADIO WORKS is 75% owned by WYNSTONE INVESTMENTS, with DANIELS owning 17.5, THEODORE H. MAHN owning 5%, and CHAD M. CUMMINGS owning 2.5%.
In other deals filed with the FCC, EL DORADO BROADCASTING CO. is selling Gospel KDMS-A and Country KLBQ/EL DORADO, AR to JADON BROADCASTING, INC. for $300,000.
NORTHEAST GOSPEL BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W285EO (formerly W284AU)/COBLESKILL, NY to SCHOHARIE BROADCASTING, LLC for $46,000.
CUMULUS MEDIA has filed the formal paperwork to place Classic Rock WRSR I103.9 THE FOX)/OWASSO-FLINT, MI, Country WCAT (RED 102.3)/CARLISLE-HARRISBURG, PA, and Top 40 WWKL (HOT 93.5)/PALMYRA-HARRISBURG, PA into the POTENTIAL BROADCASTING, LLC trust, with broker EDDIE ESSERMAN heading the trustee. POTENTIAL has also inked Time Brokerage Agreements to program the stations in advance of closing.
And NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE has applied for a Silent STA for WNEC-F/HENNIKER, NH "due to lack of staffing for minimum broadcast compliance requirements for a (noncommercial educational FM)."
